Team Branding

Set consistent branding defaults for all forms created within your team.

Team branding lets you define visual defaults that automatically apply to every form created within your team. This ensures a consistent, professional look across all team forms without requiring manual configuration each time.

Setting Up Team Branding

To configure team branding:

  1. Navigate to your team settings.
  2. Select the Branding tab.
  3. Configure the following options:

Upload a team logo (PNG, JPG, or SVG, max 2MB). The logo appears on all team forms in the header area. Recommended dimensions are 200x60 pixels for best results.

Colors

Set your team's color palette:

  • Primary color — Used for buttons, progress bars, and interactive elements.
  • Background color — The form's background color.
  • Text color — Default text color for questions and descriptions.

Enter colors as hex values (e.g., #6366f1) or use the color picker.

Fonts

Choose a default font family from Google Fonts. The selected font applies to all text in team forms, including questions, descriptions, and buttons.

Add a custom footer message that appears at the bottom of all team forms. This is useful for legal disclaimers, company information, or contact details. Supports plain text.

Branding Resolution Order

When a form is rendered, NueForm determines the visual styling using a cascading priority system:

  1. Form-level overrides — Any branding or theme settings configured directly on the form take highest priority. If a form has a custom theme color, it overrides the team default.
  2. Team branding — If no form-level override is set for a property, the team's branding default is used.
  3. Owner defaults — If the team has no branding configured for a property, the form owner's personal branding defaults apply.
  4. System defaults — NueForm's built-in default styling is used as a final fallback.

This cascading approach means you can set team-wide defaults while still allowing individual forms to have unique styling when needed.

Resetting to Owner Defaults

If you want to remove team branding and revert to each form owner's personal defaults:

  1. Go to team settings and select the Branding tab.
  2. Click Reset to Defaults.
  3. Confirm the action.

This clears all team branding settings. Existing forms that were using team branding will fall back to their owner's personal defaults or system defaults.

Resetting team branding does not affect forms that have form-level overrides. Those forms retain their custom styling.

Who Can Manage

Team branding can only be managed by admins and owners. Editors and viewers cannot access or modify the Branding tab in team settings.
