Overview
NueForm includes an interactive help layer across the whole app: short guided tours that spotlight the key controls on each page, beacons (pulsing dots) that invite you to a quick walkthrough of advanced areas, and a getting-started checklist that tracks your first steps from signup to your first response.
Everything is designed to stay out of your way: tours are short (2–5 steps), always skippable, and never shown again once you complete or dismiss them.
Tours
Automatic tours
Only two tours ever start on their own, each once, the first time you visit:
| Surface | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Forms (your home page) | Where your forms live, creating with AI or templates, search, and the Help menu |
| Form builder | The question palette, canvas, question settings, preview, and publishing |
At most one tour auto-starts per session, and never while you're in the middle of something (an open dialog, for example).
Invited tours
Every other area — the workflow view, responses, Activity analytics, Fuse, telephony, schedules, templates, composites, payments, emails, teams, billing, and more — has a beacon: a small pulsing dot near the page's header. Click it to take that page's tour. Beacons disappear once you've taken (or skipped) the tour.
Controlling a tour
- Next / Back — move between steps (arrow keys work too)
- Skip or ✕ or Esc — end the tour; it won't auto-appear again
- The page stays fully interactive during a tour — some steps even advance when you perform the real action (like clicking Publish)
Tour progress is saved to your account, not your browser — completed and dismissed tours stay that way across devices.
The Help menu
The ? button in the header is always available:
- Show me this page — rerun the current page's tour, any time
- Getting started — open the checklist
- Documentation — jump to these docs
- Contact support — reach the team
Getting-started checklist
The checklist tracks five milestones, computed from your real account activity:
- Create your account
- Build your first form (a form with at least one question)
- Publish it
- Share your link
- Get your first response
A progress dot on the ? button shows until the checklist is complete. You can dismiss it any time with Dismiss for now — it never blocks anything.
Localization
Tours, the checklist, and the Help menu are fully localized in all eight platform languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Hindi), including right-to-left layout in Arabic.
